The lab proficiency program started as an initiative to offer lab proficiency testing, accreditation to support the BC Wine Authority certified BC VQA lab program, and to provide educational tools for improved accuracy. Participation in the lab proficiency program is voluntary and all results are confidential. Testing is conducted in March and results are compiled and presented at the Summerland Research and Development Centre in early May. The cost to participate is $45.
